Relax in the 70 cm wide-bore Echelon Synergy — 30 to 90 minutes depending on your package, with music if you’d like it.

Radiologist + AI analysis
A board-certified radiologist reviews your images while Combinostics quantifies 133 regions of your brain.

Results you can act on
Findings are sent through AIR’s established results workflow. Radiology reports are typically available within 48–72 hours.

Do I need a doctor’s referral?
No referral is required for AIR’s screening MRI packages. Diagnostic MRI follows a provider-order pathway — call (775) 507-3331 to confirm what your exam requires.
How long does a scan take?
About 30–45 minutes for the Whole Spine MRI, 45–60 minutes for the Neuro-Spine MRI, and 60–90 minutes for the Whole Body MRI. The Complete package runs longer. You’ll get an exact estimate when you book.
What payment methods are accepted?
AIR accepts HSA and FSA funds, cash, checks, credit cards, and debit cards. Confirm your individual HSA/FSA plan rules before paying.

Screening MRI is elective — you choose it, usually before any symptom appears. That makes it worth understanding exactly where the evidence stands before you book.

It's your call, not a prescription
The American College of Radiology has not recommended total-body screening MRI for people without symptoms, risk factors, or a relevant family history. Many of our patients still choose it — because waiting for a recommendation isn’t the same as waiting for an answer. We simply believe you should decide with that context in view.

A finding can mean more tests
Screening can surface non-specific findings — things that turn out to be harmless but call for follow-up imaging, additional testing, or a conversation with your physician first. That possibility, and its potential expense, belongs in your decision from the start.

It adds to your care — it doesn't replace it
A screening MRI never replaces emergency care, your physician’s guidance, or the age- and risk-appropriate screenings you’re already due for. It’s one more way to look — early, broadly, and without radiation.
